Virginia Louise McCall

Virginia Louise McCall, 69, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Beeville, Texas. She was born the first girl, second born of nine, on February 28, 1957, in Hugo, Oklahoma to Gene and Louise (Shelton) King. She was welcomed home with open arms by her brother, Malcolm McGee and her husband, Kenneth Ray-McCall who preceded her in death.

She is also preceded in death by her mother, Louise Mammie Shelton; father, Gene King; one brother, Carl McGee and her sister, Arnetta McGee.

Virginia was a loving and caring person that once you met her, you were family. She had a way of making everyone feel loved, accepted and wanted. She believed in and loved furthering her education, which led her to taking courses to pursue a degree in being a pharmacy technician.

She is survived by her beloved children, Kenya McCall, Terence McCall and Karimah Bailey; her loving son-in-law, Ahmad Davis; her siblings, Lonnie Parker, Bobby Ray Parker, Lilly Frazier, John McGee and Lillian Shelton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on March 28, 2026, in Hugo, Oklahoma.
