Sheldon W. Coody

BEEVILLE – Sheldon W. Coody, 55, passed away on July 28, 2022. He was born on December 4, 1966, in Fort Rucker, Alabama to Earl Ray and Patsy Ann (Moore) Coody. He married Heather Davies on Jan. 23, 1990, in Lockhart, Texas. He had worked as a chemical plant operator and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Ray Coody and Patsy Ann McClellan and one sister, Kimberly Crawford.

     He is survived by his wife, Heather Coody of Beeville; three sons, Joshua Davies, Justin Coody, and Jeremy Coody all of Beeville, and a host of adopted children. He is also survived by one brother, Jeffery Barnard; three sisters, Katrina Bernard, Renee Sifuentes and April Coody and two stepsisters, April Rodriguez and Jennifer Pena.

     A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Coody residence, 2412 Carr Road in Beeville. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Sheldon’s life with a bar-b-que meal and fellowship.

     The family would also ask, in lieu of flowers, to donate to Hospice of South Texas, 605 E. Locust Ave., Victoria, Texas 77901.
