Rosa Rosenbaum Rendon

Rosa Rosenbaum Rendon, 75, passed away on September 4, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on September 18, 1949, in Mathis, Texas and was given the name Rosita. She was the third child of seven brothers and sisters. Five boys and two girls. She had attended school in Mathis and Skidmore. Rosa married Gilberto Rendon and together they had three sons and three daughters.

She has gone to heaven to join her son Jay; her parents, Francisco and Natalia Rosenbaum; her husband, Gilberto Rendon; three brothers, Raul, Frank and Tony Rosenbaum; one sister, Maria Elida Ceja and one son-in-law, Gilbert Jessie Cruz.

She is survived by two brothers, Juan (Cecilia Ramirez) Rosenbaum and Rogelio (Delia Pena) Rosenbaum; her three sons; Jose Adan Rendon, Arturo Ceasar (Annette Milton) Rendon, Moiseis Israel (Amanda Gibson) Rendon, three daughters; Matiana Cruz, Natalia Rendon and Corina (Joe) Tovar. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Rosa enjoyed doing crafts, working on puzzles, and most of all, enjoying her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Friday, September 12, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 5 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 13, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel with Rev. Inez Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at the Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan, Texas.
