BEEVILLE – Robert Lee Hernandez, 54, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, in Victoria, Texas. He was born on June 27, 1968, in Beeville, Texas to Joe R. and Rafaela (Gonzalez) Hernandez. He had worked in the restaurant business for several years and had recently been working in the auto detail industry.
He is preceded in death by his father and two nieces, Elizabeth, and Nevaeh Gomez.
He is survived by two sons; Austen (Melanie) Hernandez and Gavan Hernandez; his mother, Rafaela (Fela) Hernandez; sister, Sandra (Alfred) Hernandez-Gomez; brother, Joe Richard (Starr) Hernandez; two grandchildren, Genesis, and Jaxsen Hernandez; two nephews, Dylan Hernandez, and Matthew Gomez and two nieces, Alyssa Gutierrez and Angelina Delgado.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, Oct. 20, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm. A chapel service will be held at 10 am on Friday, Oct. 21, with Mr. Steve Perez officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Serving as pallbearers are Andy Nova, Bobby Stead, Frankie Lopez, Airen Bocanegra, Juice Murrillo and Ramon Flores.
