Ricardo H. Gomez, III, 28, passed away on September 29, 2024. He was born on November 16, 1995, in Beeville, Texas. He worked as a plant operator for Valero at the Three Rivers Refinery.
Richard was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Richard married the love of his life, Krystal Cuellar, on May 7, 2022, in Live Oak County, Texas. Together they have two beautiful children that he loved and cherished with all his heart.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Linda Ingersoll, Michael Hamilton and Robert Rodgers; great grandparents, Antonio E. and Eliza D. Gomez, Cereldo and Isabel Garza Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Krystal Gomez; his daughter, Kinsley Madisyn Gomez; his son, Ricardo C. Gomez IV; parents, Misty (Michael) Rodgers and Ricardo G. (Nancy) Gomez, Jr; grandparents, Ricardo D. and Pabla Gomez Sr., Jewel Rodgers, John Ingersoll; parents-in-law, Debra (Seferino) Villarreal and Billy (Donna) Cuellar; two sisters, Brandy (Kiara) Perez and Dara Gomez; one brother, Stephen Perez; three step-sisters, Asyria Benavidez, Andrea Garza and Jade Trevino; seven siblings-in-law, Alyssa Medina, Desiree Gonzales, Alivia Villarreal, Bailey Cuellar, Billy (Kiana) Cuellar, Justin Cuellar and Noah Cuellar; One uncle, Travis J. (Dani) Gomez, Sr., one aunt, Veronica Gomez and her daughter, Jolene Rodriguez. He is also survived by an abundance of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Thursday, Oct. 3, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, Oct. 4, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Domingo Cemetery in Normanna, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Travis J. Gomez, Sr., Noah S. Gomez, Travis J. Gomez, Jr., Joe Richard Rodriguez, Sebastian Rodriguez, David Sayre, Arick Diaz, John Austin Carrillo, Christian J. Cruz, Silvestre Sanchez, Steven Gamboa, Billy J. Cuellar Jr. and Justin R. Cuellar.
