Ramiro G. Garcia, 82, died on July 3, 2025. He passed away peacefully at his home, enjoying the sunshine, the birds, and living the life he loved. He lived simply, joyful and faithfully, enjoying Gods simple gifts. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was quick-witted and a little mischievous. He was loved by his family and friends and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan to the very end.
He was born on July 18, 1942, in Clareville, Texas to Agapito and Veronica (Garcia) Garcia. He married Julia Moreno on July 19, 1963, in Beeville, Texas. He loved music and played the accordion and had retired from the transportation industry as a truck driver.
Ramiro is preceded in death by his parents, Agapito and Veronica Garcia; three brothers, Aurelio, Erasmo and Hector Garcia; a sister, Ofelia Garcia and one grandson, Luke Aaron Cuellar.
He is survived by his wife, Julia M. Garcia; children, Jorge Guillermo (Billy) (Rose) Garcia, Ramiro Ricardo (Dicky) (Lorraine) Garcia, Gerald Agapito (Jerry) (Debbie) Garcia, Mari Grace (Ruben Herrera) Cuellar and Laura Crystal (Luis) Pulido; two sisters, Amelia Hernandez and Delia Garcia; one brother, Oliver Garcia; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and a great great great grandchild due in August. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at 9 am on Thursday, July 10, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with a rosary to be held at 9:30 am. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am with Fr. Richard Gutierrez as celebrant. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery.
