Petra E. Perez

     Mrs. Petra E. Perez, 93, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, in the presence of her loved ones. She was born on April 25, 1932, in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico to Sabino and Maria (Berlanga) Esparza. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rogelio Perez Sr, who died on April 8, 2021.

     She is survived by her children, Rachel Perez, Romie Salinas, Rebecca Salazar, Ruby (Julio), Ruth McDaniel, Norma Garza, Rogelio Perez Jr, Roberto Perez and  Elizabeth Aliseda (Jose); one brother, Ramon Esparza and two sisters, Dolly Cowles and Elida Zavala. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

     A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 16, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel with Deacon Roger Rosenbaum officiating.
