Mrs. Rebecca Villa Navarette Manning

CORPUS CHRISTI – Mrs. Rebecca Villa Navarette Manning, 93, of Corpus Christi, formerly of Beeville, died on Sept. 25, 2019. She was born on May 1, 1926 in Emiliano Zapata, Durango, Mexico to the late Tereso and Dolores (Villa) Navarette. She married Alfred Manning in 1960 in Beeville, Tx.

       She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Carlos Abel Manning and Alfred Frank Manning.

       She is survived by her children, Rosita Rebecca (Steven) Marez of Corpus Christi, Tx, Kelly Daniel (Diana) Manning of Sinton, Tx and Maria Elena Diaz of Brownsville, Tx; her siblings, Carmen and Elvia of Chicago, Ill, Gloria of Matamoros, Mexico and Reyes of Torreon, Mexico. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

       Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Monday, Sept. 30, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. Chapel services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, Oct. 1, with Mr. Eliazar Guerrero officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

       Serving as pallbearers are Evan Hernandez, Deric Ford, Dylan Manning, Tyler Manning, Joel Chapa, Jr and Joel Chapa III.

       Honorary pallbearers are Colton Karpesky, Robert Karpesky, Moses Diaz and Alfred Diaz.
