Moises Gonzales Obituary

BEEVILLE – Moises Gonzales, 80, of Beeville, formerly of Ganado, passed away on June 28, 2021. He was born on July 4, 1940 in Ganado, Texas to the late Marcelino and Eusebia (Rivera) Gonzales. He married Dora Trevino on June 20, 1987 in Beeville, TX. Moises was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had graduated from Baylor University on May 18, 1979. He had worked as a counselor for the U.S. Veteran’s Administration.


     He is survived by his wife, Dora T. Gonzales of Beeville; two brothers, Samuel Gonzales of Wharton and Marcelino Gonzales of Rosenberg; four sisters, Rosa Rangel of Little Elm, TX, Lois Alvarez of Highland, Raquel Tope of Anaheim, CA and Lydia Dennis of Ganado.


     Visitation will be held from 8-11 am on Saturday, July 3, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. Chapel services will be held at 11 am with Rev. Armando Guzman and Rev. Magdaleno Quinones officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.


     Serving as pallbearers are Amado Martinez, III, Mark Andrew Cardenas, Daniel Paulo Rodriguez, Frank Aderete, Daniel Gonzales, Thomas Dennis and Phillip Schmidtke.
