Maurice Valentine Walker, Jr.

BEEVILLE – Maurice Valentine Walker, Jr., 83, passed away on November 14, 2023, in Beeville, Texas. He was born in Lockhart, Texas on May 3, 1940, to Maurice Valentine and Alice Rae (Hall) Walker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had worked in the oilfield industry.

     He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anita Walker; one sister, Ruth Eison and her husband, Robert Eison, and brother-in-law, Jimmy Davis.

     He is survived by his significant other, Marie Matherly; one sister, Linda Davis; sons, Daniel Mahoney, and Eddie Lindsey; three daughters, Bonnie (Jim) Szilagy, Debbie (Steve) Marshall and Pamela (Michael) Eckrot; two grandsons, Jason (Nichole) Ramsland and Chase Dabbs; two granddaughters, Amber (Tim) Cortez and Allie Eckrot; two nieces, Ruth (Ken) Cox and Tracie Fenner and one nephew, Matthew (Angie) Davis. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in law, Ruben Garcia, Romeo Garcia, Dolores Santress and Maria Arredondo.
