Mary (Sandra) Medina Garcia

BEEVILLE – Mary (Sandra) Medina Garcia, 74, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born on July 16, 1948, in Refugio, Texas to Benito Joe and Maria (Ochoa) Medina. She married Manuel Garcia on October 6, 1963, in Beeville, Texas.

     She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Ashton Lee Perez; one sister, Enedina Ochoa Medina and one brother, Joe O. Medina.

     She is survived by her husband, Manuel Garcia of Beeville; two sons, Manuel (Mirtha) Garcia, Jr. of Austin, and Myron Garcia of Beeville; one daughter, Melissa (Johnny) Rodriguez of Beeville; five sisters, Rafaela (Ruffles) M. Rodriguez of Beeville, Mary Forbes of Seattle, Washington, Elvia (Dan) Baca and Linda (Mike) Buckroff  both of Las Vegas, Nevada and Rachel Medina of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

     A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Thursday, May 4, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. The holy rosary will be recited at 7 pm with Deacon Santos Jones reciting. Cremation services will follow.
