Mary Jane Rodriguez

BEEVILLE – Mary Jane Rodriguez, 74, passed away on April 17, 2023. She was born in Beeville, Texas on November 15, 1948, to Lino and Elena (Martinez) Garcia. She married Daniel Rodriguez on February 3, 1978, in Beeville, Texas. She had worked as a home care provider.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Lino and Elena Garcia;  her husband, Daniel Q. Rodriguez, who passed away on March 10, 2010, and two brothers, Baldemar “Kitty” Garcia and Ubaldo “Blackie” Adamez.

     She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Jessie) Del Bosque of Skidmore and Mary (Albert) Garcia of Beeville; one son, Donny Rodriguez of Beeville and two sisters, Ofilia Loya and Viola Lopez both of Beeville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Thursday, April 20, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm with Deacon Santos Jones reciting. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, April 21, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Gonzales as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Saldivar, Phillip Saldivar, Marc Garcia, Lino Garcia, Joeray Loya Jr., Marco Garcia and Fred Guajardo.
