Mary Helen Salinas

BEEVILLE – Mary Helen Salinas, 53, passed away on September 14, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on July 3, 1970, in Beeville, Texas to Baltazar and Jesusa (Garcia) Salinas, Jr. She had worked for Christus Spohn Hospital in the housekeeping department.

     She is preceded in death by her mother, Jesusa G. Salinas and one brother, Jimmy Salinas.

     She is survived by one son, Jesus Guajardo of Beeville; father, Baltazar Salinas, Jr., of Beeville and two sisters, Melissa Rosas, and Sandra (Ronald) Baldillez both of Beeville. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.

     A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Monday, Sept. 18, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Jacob Valayath as celebrant. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers are Alonzo Castro, David Castillo, Ronald Baldillez, Joshua Meakins, Johnathon Sprouse and Jayden Barrientes. Honorary pallbearer is Jessie Guajardo.
