Maria (Mary) Elena Falcon

BEEVILLE – Maria Elena (Mary) Falcon, of Beeville, died on Aug. 16, 2019. She was born on March 23, 1948 to Susie (Ramirez) Falcon. She had worked as the manager for South Texas Loans and had worked in the business for over 30 years.

            She is preceded in death by her mother; two sisters, Minerva Cisneros and Stella Falcon Perez.

            She is survived by her spouse, Ernesto "Neto" Cantu of Beeville; one son, Ernest Everett (Taylor Rose) Cantu, Jr of Beeville; two brothers, Hector (Alice) Falcon and Obidio (Linda) Falcon both of Refugio, TX. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Audree Lynn, Kimberly Rose, Ernest Everett Cantu III and Lorenzo Ernest Cantu. She is also survived by 5 nieces and 1 nephew.  

            Visitation will be held from 3-9 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. The body of Mrs. Falcon will lie in repose at 9 am on Thursday, Aug. 22, at Our Lady of Victory Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am with Fr. Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating.

            Interment will follow at the St. Bernard Cemetery in Woodsboro, Tx.

            Serving as pallbearers are Andy Rocha, Mark Baladez, John Cisneros, Ernest Cantu Jr., Jimmy (Bobo) Cantu and Robert Cantu.
