BEEVILLE – Manuel Jimenez Campos, Sr., 70, passed away on June 26, 2022, at his residence. He was born on May 29, 1952, in Beeville, Texas to Valentine and Margarita (Jimenez) Campos. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked in the oilfield industry.
He is preceded in death by one daughter, Clarissa Renee Campos.
He is survived by his mother, Margarita Campos of Beeville; his wife of 35 years, Estella Campos of Beeville; children, Manuel Campos, Jr of Beeville, Gerald Lee (JoAnne) Campos of Victoria, Marty (Ira Ann) Campos, Randy (Josie) Campos and Christopher (Michelle) Campos all of Beeville and Brandie (Raul Hernandez) Campos of George West; four brothers, Joe Henry Campos of Houston, Baldemar (Sylvia) Campos of Kingsville, Daniel Campos and Valentine Campos, Jr both of Beeville; four sisters, Lillie (Mark) Jones of Victoria, Velda (Macario) Alvarado, Mary Jane (George) Cano and Lupita (Mateo) Ramirez all of Beeville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Thursday, June 30, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, July 1, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel with Deacon Roger Rosenbaum officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Serving as pallbearers are Marty Campos, Gerald Lee Campos, Randy Campos, Christopher Ron Campos, Baldemar Jimenez Campos, and Jonathan Matthew Campos.
Honorary pallbearers are Marty Campos, Jr., Jamison Daniel Moreno, Khaden Josiah Campos, and Kristian Michael Campos.
