Obituary

BEEVILLE – Lorenzo Rodriguez, 88, of Beeville, passed away on May 4, 2022. He was born in Matehuala San Luis Potosi on July 26, 1933, to the late Tomas and Alberta (Coronado) Rodriguez. He had retired, after many years, as owner and operator of Rodriguez Upholstery.

     He is survived by his wife, Maria Rodriguez of Beeville; three daughters, Consuelo Rodriguez Hernandez of Kyle, Elsa Ibarra of Beeville and Elva Garcia of Raymondville; four sons, Tomas Rodriguez Hernandez of Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, Francisco and Jose Rodriguez both of Beeville and George Rodriguez of Yuma, Colorado; one sister, Belen Rodriguez Coronado of Monterey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Monday, May 9, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, May 10, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel with Fr. Jacob Valayath officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers are Francisco Rodriguez Jr., Rene Ibarra Jr., Bernardino Gutierrez, Andrew Jose Rodriguez, Michael Lee Rodriguez and Tristan Earl.
