Linda C. Garza

BEEVILLE – Linda C. Garza, 66, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023. She was born on January 16, 1957, in Beeville, Texas to Elisar and Jesusita (Maldonado) Contreras. She married Martin Garza on May 9, 1994, in Beeville, Texas. She had worked as a teacher’s assistant for Beeville I.S.D.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Elisar “Charlie” and Jesusita M. Contreras and three brothers, Antonio Gomez, Rudy Gomez, and Frank Contreras.

     She is survived by her husband, Martin Garza; her children, Joe (Ami) Ramirez, Sadie (Robert) LeBlanc, Marty (Sarah) Garza, Gracie (Albert) Escamilla, Debbie Garza, and Belinda (Ruben) Garza; four grandchildren, Hayleigh, Elizar, Theodore, and Ariel Ramirez; her siblings, Rosie Contreras, Juan Contreras, Joe Contreras, Joe Richard Gomez, and Ruben Gomez. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives.

     A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, from 3-8 pm at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm with Linda’s brother, Joe Richard Gomez officiating.
