Julie Lynette Casares, 67, passed away on March 8, 2025. She was born on December 5, 1957, in Delhi, Louisiana to James and Melva (Hendrix) Black. She married Juan Manuel Casares on January 7, 1994, in Beeville, Texas. She worked at First National Bank for several years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Melva Black and one sister, Allison Black.
She is survived by her husband, Juan M. Casares of Beeville; four sons, Brandon James (Leah) Maldonado of Beeville, Austin James Maldonado of San Antonio, Derrick Manuel Casares and Mathew Robert Quintero both of Beeville; four grandchildren, Brody Lee Casares, Logan Lee Casares, McKinlee Rain Casares and Ollie James Maldonado; one brother, Bradley Black of Vermont and her sister, Michele O’Deay of Rayville, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Tuesday, March 11, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, Mar. 12, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Clareville, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Brandon James Maldonado, Austin James Maldonado, Derrick Manuel Casares, Mathew Robert Quintero, Michael Casares and Nicholas Harris.
