Juanita Medrano Estrada, 73, passed away on February 23, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on March 29,1952, in Sinton, Texas to Erlindo and Maria Baldome Sanchez Medrano.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Erlindo Medrano and Maria Baldome Sanchez Medrano; her brothers, Francisco Sanchez, Alfredo Medrano Sr., Ruben Medrano Sr., Jose Medrano, and six sisters, Anita Resio, Amelia Marin, Erlinda Soliz, Odelia Sandoval, Maria Deleon and Dominga Almeida.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Juan Ruben Estrada Sr.; her children, Rolando Espinoza, Melissa Pratz, Eric E. Lawrence, Oscar Estrada, and Ruben Estrada Jr.; her grandchildren, Paris Tate, Cody Tate, Katelyn Pratz, Ziarra Munoz, Zailey Estrada, Zaylin Estrada, Kristian Estrada, Mckenna Estrada, and Kaysin Estrada. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Konnor Mckay, Keagan Mckay, Melanie Tate, Cody Eli Tate, SJ Munoz, and Novalee Munoz.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel in Beeville, Texas. The holy rosary was recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass was celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, February 28, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mathis, Texas. Interment followed at the Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
