Jose Maria Suniga

Jose Maria Suniga, Jr., 74, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 5, 2026. He was born in Beeville, Texas on September 13, 1951, to Jose and Guadalupe (Salinas) Suniga. He was a lifelong rancher.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Guadalupe Suniga and his siblings, Elvira Puentes (Esteban), Maria Cirone (Anthony), Elida Perez (Benito) and Enrique Suniga (Rynda).

He is survived by four siblings, Daniel Suniga, Adela Glew (Kerry), Sulema Suniga and Robert Suniga. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Wednesday, February 11, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm with Deacon Roger Rosenbaum officiating. Cremation services will follow.
