Johnny Hernandez Obituary

Mr. Juan (Johnny Frank) Hernandez, 73, passed away on  Wednesday June 18, 2025. He was born on  January 3, 1952, in Beeville Texas  to Rosa (Fina) Cano Hernandez and Francisco (Pancho) Hernandez. He married Diana Elia Perez on December 29, 1973, in Beeville TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and  Rosa Hernandez and one sister, Rosemary Gonzalez,

Johnny Frank leaves behind one son Orlando (Laura) Hernandez of Katy TX; four grandchildren, Orlando Francisco Hernandez Jr, Felisha  (Jacob) Arredondo, Sirena Vela, Laura Bethany Inngais; six great grandchildren, Rodolfo Orlando Inngais, Sofia Hernandez, Noah Hernandez, Isaiah Morin, Arabella Alonso and Grayson Morin. He is also survived by his siblings, Manuel (Wendy) Hernandez, Susano (Julie) Hernandez, Sofie  (Armando) Cavazos, Mary Helen (Ernesto) Perez, Luz “Lula” (Ruben) Garza, Mary Jane (Jose) Hernandez all of Beeville and Genevea Hernandez of Jacksonville, Florida.

Johnny had an extensive career in construction working all over North America for various companies and retired as a Senior General Superintendent. He received many prestigious awards throughout his career for not only building projects on time but keeping personnel safe. He will always be remembered for being genuine and fair and for seeing things and helping people get their start in construction. There are many people who credit their career in construction to Johnny. He was always willing to teach and listened to everyone from Presidents and owners to the laborers in the field. As much as he loved construction, his love for the game of golf was even bigger. He played every chance he had and was known for never backing down from a game. Johnny loved his wife and family very much. He enjoyed his time off with his family and loved taking the grandchildren and great grandchildren on rides on his backhoe and golf cart. He also loved taking them hunting and fishing trips on his boat every chance he had. The world is going to be a little less kind now that he’s gone.
