John David Ybanez, Jr.

BEEVILLE – John David Ybanez, Jr., 23, of Beeville, passed away on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021. He was born on Oct. 17, 1997 in Beeville to John David and Dora (Gutierrez) Ybanez, Sr. He had worked in the construction industry.

     He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, David C. Ybanez and Enrique Vasquez, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Celestina Gutierrez and uncle, Enrique Vasquez, Jr.

     He is survived by his mother, Dora (Sergio) Gutierrez Vasquez; father, John David Ybanez, Sr; siblings, Destiny Rae Garcia, John Michael Ybanez, Stephanie Lynn Ybanez and Alyssa Avery Galarza; paternal grandmother, Anita Ybanez; maternal grandfather, Emilio Gutierrez; maternal grandmother, Emelda Vasquez; nephew, Emilio Emory Morin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

     Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday, Jan. 14, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm. A chapel service will be held at 10 am on Friday, Jan. 15 with Mr. Max Perez officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.

     Serving as pallbearers are John David Ybanez, John Michael Ybanez, Sergio Vasquez, Joe Louis Salazar, Rigo Ramirez and David Flores.
