It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Father Jesus (Jesse) Garcia Maldonado, a loving dad, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 3, at the age of 79 to be with the Lord. He was born in Beeville on April 13, 1945, where he continued to live his years and where he met and was married to Linda Ruth Farias on November 23, 1968, until her passing in June of 2005. Together they raised four children. He graduated from AC Jones High School in 1964, soon after serving in the US Army from 1965-1967. He attended Bee County College where he earned an associate degree. He was employed with HEB, Super S Foods, and Stanley’s grocery stores. Jesus then worked at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where he retired from. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Astros and of course those Dallas Cowboys, but most of all time spent with his family and friends.
Jesse is survived by his four children Edward (Rebecca) Maldonado, Erica Maldonado (Jesse Garcia), Jessica Maldonado, Jesus Maldonado Jr and his loving longtime partner Norma Sanchez. He had eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, with four more great grandchildren on their way.
