Jesse Gene Gonzales

PORTLAND – Jesse Gene Gonzales, 49, of Portland, formerly of Beeville, passed away on July 12, 2020. He was born October 10, 1970 in Beeville, Tx. He had worked as a solids control technician. He was a beloved son, brother, father and uncle.

     He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Yolanda Gonzales and his grandmother, Maria Audelia Arrizola.

     He is survived by his children, Jesse Gene Gonzales, Jr and Desiree Nicole Gonzales both of Beeville, Sylvia Yolanda Gonzales of Houston and Mercedes Pena, whom he raised, of Houston, Tx; guardians, Jacinto (Eufemia) Narvaez and family of Pasadena, Tx; three sisters, Barbara (Steve) Garza of Ingleside, Sueann (Pete) Alvarado of Lubbock and Lydia (Stephen) Serna of Karnes City. He is also survived by a grandchild and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

     Visitation of family and friends will take place from 5-6:30 pm on Friday, July 31, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A memorial service and rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm with Deacon Art Provencio.
