Jason Lucas Cumpian

     Jason Lucas Cumpian, 44, passed away on July 4, 2024, in Frankfort, Ohio. He was born on July 24, 1979, in Beeville, Texas to Juan Alberto and Felipa (Campos) Cumpian. He was a 1997 Graduate of A.C. High School an worked as a pipefitter for Local Union 162.

     Jason’s hobby was bar-b-que’s, spending time with kids, singing, dancing and being the comedian of the party.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Alberto (Johnny) Cumpian and Felipa Cumpian; paternal grandparents, Marcos and Enriqueta Cumpian and his maternal grandparents, Marcos Campos, Sr. and Francisca Campos.

     He is survived by his daughter, Madison Elise Cumpian (Trakker Whitworth); son, Robert Phylip Cumpian; one brother, John Lewis Cumpian; nephew, John Gabriel Cumpian and several nieces.

     A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Sunday, July 14, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 15, at Oak Park Memorial with Deacon Roger Rosenbaum officiating. Interment will follow at the Ramon Family Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers are Charlie Salinas, Audie Benavidez, Mitch Smith, John Gabriel Cumpian, Bernie Zertuche, Gabrial Yzaguirre, Robert Cantu and Ernest Orozco.

    Honorary pallbearers are Felix Flores, Eric Amaro, TJ Flores, Orlando “Butch” Flores, Armando “Glo” Flores, BF Flores, Theresa Salazar, Adrian Campos, Justin Flores, Timothy Flores, Thomas Flores, B.J. Arredondo, Richard Perales, John Franco and Thomas Vidaure.
