Jason Daniel Cox

Jason Daniel Cox, 45, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at his home in Beeville, Texas. He was born on October 8, 1980, in Beeville to Joe David Cox Sr. and Sylvia Brown Cox.

Jason loved being with his friends and family, playing video games, skateboarding, fishing, camping, barbecuing, riding motorcycles, and cooking along with many other outdoor sports. He also enjoyed collecting comic books.

Jason had a Level 2 welding certificate, but his passion was as a chef in the restaurant industry where he worked in various restaurants in the surrounding area.

He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Brown Cox; one daughter, Lita N. Cox; a son, Dylan Cox; two brothers, Joe Cox (Gloria) and Jeff D. Cox. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
