Janet Lynn Bruce

BEEVILLE – Janet Lynn Bruce, 51, passed away on November 17, 2022, in Portland, Texas. She was born on January 17, 1971, in Port Hueneme, California to Robert and Minerva (Vela) Bruce. She was a secretary for Pawlik & Son Water Well Service.

     She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Martin and Alejandra Moreno and paternal grandparents, Clifford, and Doris Bruce.

     She is survived by two sons, Jeremiah Robert Ferrell of Gardendale, and Landis Slade Ferrell of George West; parents, Robert, and Minnie Bruce of Beeville and one sister, Carol Sue (Sammy) Aguirre of Beeville.

     A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Sunday, Nov. 20, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A holy rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday, Nov. 21, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Fr. Isaias Estepa as celebrant. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.

      Serving as pallbearers are Jacob Valencia, Lane McClelland, Keith Pawlik, Pablo Martinez, Russtin Miller and Jesse Garcia.
