Gerald "Scotty" Salazar

Gerald Scott Salazar, 53, passed away September 22, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on February 4, 1972, in Beeville, Texas to Nora Cardenas Salazar and Gerald Moreno Salazar.

He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kaleigh Faith Salazar.

Scott leaves behind his spouse, Jennifer Lynn Salazar; four sons, Lee (Alexandria) Salazar of Austin, Texas and Dru, Caleb and Ayden Salazar of Beeville, Texas.

Scott enjoyed barbequing, listening to music and spending time with family. He enjoyed several types of music and had an LP collection. He had various occupations including asset protection employee and an assistant at Walmart, and most recently as a parts manager at Auto Zone.

A rosary will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, Oct. 4, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church followed by the celebration of a funeral mass at 10 am. Interment will be held at a later date at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to their favorite charity.
