George Donald Wright

George Donald Wright, 82, passed away on January 17, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on September 4, 1941, in Houston, Texas to the late George Washington Wright and Grace (Miller) Wright. He was a retired carpenter.

He is preceded in death by one son, Donelle Wright, who passed away on Feb. 22, 2006.

He is survived by his wife, Esthernie Wright; his children, Janelle (Eric) Farran, Jonathan (Lauren) Wright and Ray McSwain. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Donelle, Taylor, Gunner, Mason, Jonathan, Jacob, Mallarie, and Destany.

A visitation will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at Seventh Day Adventist Church. The funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Samuel Vega officiating. Interment will follow at the Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Jonathan Wright, Ray Wright, Donelle Wright, Jacob Wright, Eric Farran and Howard Farran.
