Frank G. Rodriguez

BEEVILLE – Frank G. Rodriguez, 83, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at his residence. He was born on October 6, 1940, in Beeville, Texas to the late Benito and Ofelia (Gamez) Rodriguez. He was a retired school district custodian.

     He is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Beatrice Mercado and two sons, Frank Rodriguez, Jr., and Johnny “Shorty” Rodriguez.

     Frank is survived by his longtime partner, Jackie Posada of Beeville; his children, Sylvia (Iddrisu) Salifu of Victoria, Nelda Rodriguez of Beeville, Catherine Rodriguez of California, Yolanda (Luis) Lobo of Corpus Christi, Daniel (Sandra Galindo) Rodriguez of Beeville, Celestina (Hilario) Pina of Palmdale, California and Ofelia “Lolly” (Courtney) Martinez of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sisters, Hortencia Walker of Portland and Lilly Uresti of Kingsville and one brother, Augustine Gamez of Victoria. Frank is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

     A visitation will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, December 6, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Pastor Jesse Berthold officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers are Joe David (Roger) Montes, Jamie Rodriguez, Diego Rodriguez, Ruben (Maddy) Rodriguez, Frankie Rodriguez, and Johnny Rodriguez.
