Frances Perez Kirk

Frances Perez Kirk was born on October 10, 1938, in Tuleta, Texas. She passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Frances was preceded in death by her mother, Maria; her father, Felipe; her beloved husband, Robert Kirk of 60 years, ; her brother, Benito; her sister-in-law, Hope Perez; and her brothers-in-law, Bill McDonald and Gene Peterson.

She is survived by her five sisters: Simona McDonald, Vicki Petterson, Nieves McIntire, Rita Rosselot, and Maria Wilson; and her three brothers: Daniel, Felipe Jr., and Amado.

After graduating, Frances moved to San Antonio, where she met the love of her life, and married Robert “Bob” Kirk. The couple later moved to Los Angeles, where Frances built a successful professional career.

Frances became the Head of Human Resources at a major bank, a role in which she was highly respected by her coworkers and colleagues. She was known for her integrity, leadership, and genuine care for people.

During her career, Frances bravely battled cancer twice. Following these health challenges, she and Bob moved back to Floresville, Texas, to be closer to family.

Frances was a faithful and loving wife, a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She showed love in many ways and was known throughout her family for her kindness and generosity. Family was always her greatest priority.

She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and chocolate milkshakes. Frances was also a devoted dog lover and cherished her pets dearly.

Frances will be remembered for her compassion, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, January 17, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 5 pm with Deacon Roger Rosenbaum reciting.
