Faith Foitek Obituary

Faith Rose-Marie Foitek
July 28, 2003 – July 20, 2025

Faith Rose-Marie Foitek, age 21, of Beeville, Texas, passed away unexpectedly in San Antonio, Texas on July 20, 2025, just days before her 22nd birthday. Born on July 28, 2003, in Ennis, Texas, Faith brought light, laughter, and love to everyone she met.

Faith is deeply mourned and survived by her devoted mother, Sharmyn Long Olivares, and stepfather, Dr. Lazaro Olivares, Jr., D.C. (of Beeville Texas); her father, Mr. James Foitek, and his partner, Aimee West (of Flower Mound, Texas); her only sibling and best friend, her brother Nathan Foitek of Beeville, Texas; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Madelyn Becker Long Dockery of Ennis Texas; her maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Mr. Sherman and Joyce Long (of Lancaster, Texas); her step grandmother Mrs. Mary Olivares (of Beeville, Texas) and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Rose Foitek (of Ennis, Texas). She is preceded in death by her maternal step grandfather Mr. Nolen Dockery (formerly of Ennis, Texas); her paternal grandfather, Mr. Jerry Foitek (formerly of Ennis, Texas) and her step grandfather Mr. Lazaro Olivares, Sr. (formerly of Beeville, Texas). Faith’s life was richly filled by the love of many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her.

A graduate of A.C. Jones High School in Beeville, Texas, Class of 2021, Faith attended Coastal Bend College part-time while working as a licensed real estate agent—a career she began at just 19. She also held a key role in marketing and administration for her mother’s company, Wingspan Transitions.

Faith’s early years were marked by creativity and poise. A working child model from 9 months to age 8, she appeared in print ads and on billboards. She earned numerous titles in pageants across Ellis County and the state of Texas, including Little Miss and Cinderella competitions.

Faith was baptized and raised in the Catholic faith. She was baptized at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Waxahachie and graduated 8th grade from St. George Catholic School in Fort Worth. Her high school years were spent at Legacy High School (Mansfield, Texas), Matthew Road Academy (Grand Prairie, Texas), and finally in Beeville, where she graduated.

Bright, independent, expressive, and endlessly curious, Faith had a deep love for music, art, fashion, animals, people and enjoyed traveling where she experienced many great adventures with her family. With a gift for conversation and a poetic soul, she had a vast vocabulary and a heart that saw beauty in everything. She never met a stranger and made friends wherever she went. She was also an enthusiastic volleyball player during junior high, contributing to St. George’s successful seasons and record-setting team. She also participated and excelled on the debate team in high school.

Faith’s presence was magnetic—equal parts elegance and warmth. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and strength that will live on in the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Sunday, July 27, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday, July 28, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Pete Elizardo as celebrant. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery.
