Evelisario Lopez

Evelisario Lopez, 87, of Beeville, and former lifelong resident of Premont, Texas, passed away on March 19, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico on April 22, 1938, to Edelmiro and Ramona (Salazar) Lopez. He married Maria Isabel Munoz on October 28, 1960, in Reynosa, Mexico. He was a retired oilfield gauger and farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edelmiro and Ramona Lopez: his wife, Maria Isabel Lopez; one sister, Dora Salinas and his brother, Ismael Lopez.

He is survived by his six children, Marisela Luera, Rosie Perez, Jose Lopez, Blanca Cortez, Rene Lopez and Maria De Jesus Salinas and one sister, Domitila Sanchez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Monday, March 23, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4599 Bus Hwy 181 North, Beeville, Tx. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday, March 24, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 707 N Ave E, Beeville, Tx. Interment will follow at 1 pm at the Premont Cemetery in Premont, Texas.
