Elida Garcia (La Borada) Flores

     Mrs. Elida Garcia (La Borada) Flores, 87, passed away on June 4, 2024. She was born in Clareville, Texas on March 19, 1937, to Santos and Maria (Martinez) Garcia. She married the love of her life, Rudolfo A. Flores, Sr (Command Sergeant Major) on December 22, 1957.

     Elida was a homemaker who loved dances and any entertainment with music. She was of the Catholic faith.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Maria Garcia; her husband, Rudolfo A. Flores, Sr. (CSM) and four brothers, David Garcia, Sr., Oscar Garcia, Santos Garcia, Jr. and Raul (Rudy) Garcia.

     She is survived by three sons, Rudy (Caroline) Flores, Jr. of Beeville, Ruben (Mary) Flores of San Marcos, and Richard (Rick) Flores of Beeville; two brothers, Manuel Garcia of Beeville and Larry (Dolores) Garcia of San Antonio, Tx. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

     A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Friday, June 7, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary and a Rites of Christian burial service will be held at 7:00 pm with Deacon Roger Rosenbaum officiating. Cremation services will be held.
