Dr. Ysidro DeLuna Arismendez III, 57, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born on December 24, 1968, in Beeville to Ysidro G. and Adelaida Arismendez, Ysidro dedicated his life to service, education, and family. A proud veteran, Ysidro served in the United States Air Force before pursuing his passion for the law. After earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence, he enjoyed a distinguished career as an attorney at law until his retirement. Beyond his professional achievements, Ysidro was a beloved son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His wisdom, strength, and presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Ysidro Arismendez IV and Joseph Anthony Arismendez; his brother, Edward Arismendez; and his grandmother, Frances Barrera.
Ysidro's legacy continues through his parents, Ysidro G. and Adelaida Arismendez Jr.; and his children: Krislynn (Ramon) Van Meer, Misti Anne Arismendez (TJ Pfannstiel), Eric (Margaret) Arismendez, Kirsten (Jaime) Hernandez, Sydney Grace Arismendez, and Sofia Arismendez.
He was a doting grandfather to Nyah Arismendez, Ysidro (Cinco) Arismendez, Brooklyn Claire Arismendez, Ezekiel Villegas, Ariel Villegas, Esmeralda Arismendez, Joseph Arismendez, Alexander Rangel, Antonio (Jr) Cruces, Anton Cruces, Aubrei Cruces, Kian Jace Hernandez, Eric Stephen Gerard Arismendez, Audrey Virginia Lynn Arismendez, Avery Lynn Faith Arismendez, and Esaiah James Ysidro Arismendez. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Jessidee Rae Rodriguez and Milani Lynn Rangel.
Ysidro is also survived by his siblings: Gerald (Renee) Arismendez, Ralph (Severiana) Arismendez, Elia (Kenneth) Martin, John (Zaida) Rodriguez, Oscar (Velma) Arismendez, Stephanie (Joe Richard) Martinez, and Marissa (Eddie) Villarreal.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday, March 18, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will commence at 6pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, March 19, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel. Interment with full military honors will be held at 2pm at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
