BEEVILLE – Dionicio V. Puga passed away at the age of 83, on June 2, 2021, in his hometown of Beeville, Texas. He was born on Oct. 9, 1937 in Beeville, Texas to Alvino and Ignacia (Villarreal) Puga. He was a retired maintenance worker.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvino Puga, Sr. and Ignacia V. Puga; five brothers, Alvino Puga, Jr., Benito Puga, Sr., Alberto Puga, Sr., Arturo Puga and Adolfo Puga and one sister, Genoveva (Beva) Puga Villegas.

     He is survived by his spouse and son, Dolores M. Puga and Marcos Montez Puga; and one sister, Alvina Puga Garcia (Domingo Sr.) of Beeville.  He is also survived by his first wife, Guadalupe N. Puga and their children, Adela Puga Amador (David), Carlos Puga, Rebecca Puga Abrigo (David), Ena Puga Cruz (Alvin), Ester Puga Moreno (Frank) and Leonardo Puga (JoAnn). He is also survived by his sons, Jaime Puga and Efrain Puga (Gracie). Also surviving him are 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

     Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Monday, June 7, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, June 8, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2

     Serving as pallbearers are Leonardo Puga, Eddie Garcia, Jaime Puga, Raymundo Puga, Marcos Montez Puga, Adelvino Puga Sr., Jeremiah Cruz, Mark Cruz, David Abrigo Jr., Eric Abrigo, Adrian Gonzalez, Andrew Loya, Armando Puga and Abel Villegas.
