Daniel Salinas Garcia, 74, of Beeville, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on May 13, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1950, in Beeville, Texas to Jesus and Paula (Salinas) Garcia. Daniel served our country for 30 years in the Air Force Reserves, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. He had retired from HEB Grocery in Beeville after several years of service and had worked for the Texas Department of Corrections for 10 years.
He was the loving spouse of JoAnn Alvarez Garcia, and a dedicated father. He is survived by his brother, Jesus Garcia; son, Chris Garcia and daughter, Briana Landry; his grandchildren, Sophia Daniella Landry and Christopher Marcus Landry. He is preceded in death by his half-sister, Rebecca Baggio and his parents, Paula and Jesus Garcia.
A visitation will be held from 3-8pm on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel at 4599 US Hwy 181, Beeville, TX. A rosary will be recited at 7pm on Friday, May 16. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 609 E. Gramman, Beeville, TX. Interment with full military honors will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Serving as pallbearers are Jesus Garcia, Chris Garcia, John Charles Gonzales, John Gabriel Benavidez, Iverson Chambers, Norberto Garcia and Mingo Campos.
