Consuelo (Connie) Pena

BEEVILLE – Mrs. Consuelo (Connie) Pena, 71, of Beeville, passed away on Oct. 30, 2020 at her residence. She was born on March 17, 1949 in Berclair, Texas to Leonicio and Manuela (Martinez) Zavala. She married Antonio F. Pena on Nov. 7, 1964 in Beeville, Tx. She was a homemaker and member of New Hope Christian Church.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Antonio F. Pena; one son, Roberto S. Pena; sister, Amelia Segura; brother, Jose Zavala and a brother-in-law, Juan Ochoa.

     She is survived by one son, Antonio (Tony) Pena, Jr of Rochester, Indiana; three daughters, Marsha (Danny) Segovia, Angie Pena and Sara (Kristoffer Gomez) Pena all of Beeville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

     Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at New Hope Christian Church with Pastor Salvador Rincon officiating. Interment will follow at the Evangelico Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers are John Segovia, Justin Segovia, Michael Segura, Joe Zavala, Frank Ochoa, Joe Cano, Abraham Segovia and Mario Pardo.

     Honorary pallbearers are Antonio Pena, Jr., Danny Segovia and Kristoffer Gomez.
