BEEVILLE – Colleen Rios, 56, passed away on March 17, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on July 6, 1966, in Yorktown, Texas to Obigilio Rios, Jr and Dominga (Gonzalez) Rios. She worked in the food service business, as a dietary coordinator, for Christus Spohn Hospital in Beeville.
She is preceded in death by her father, Obigilio Rios, Jr; one brother, Vincent Rios; a sister, Chris Rios; her paternal grandparents, Obigilio Rios and Elisa Torres and maternal grandparents, Santiago, and Inocencia Gonzalez.
She is survived by her husband, Noe Cano of Beeville; one daughter, Brianna (Alex) Pineda of Baytown; one son, Noe Cano, Jr; two grandchildren, Garrett DeLeon, and Alexia Pineda of Baytown; her mother, Dominga Rios of Yorktown; two brothers, Daniel (Amber) Rios and Ronnie Rios both of Yorktown and one sister, Grace Rios of Duncanville, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Wednesday, March 22, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, March 23, at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Jacob Valayath as celebrant. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Jay Arredondo, Eiden Cano Jr., Garrett DeLeon, Domingo P. Garcia Jr., Gregory Garcia, Gary Moreno, Daniel Rios, Ronnie Rios and Joe Anthony Rodriguez Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Noel Cano Jr., Alex Pineda, and Alexia Pineda.
