Carmen P. Garcia, age 69, of Beeville, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026. Carmen was born on August 19, 1956, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Benito Puga and Paula Puga. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and homemaker who touched countless lives with her nurturing character, kindness, and humor.
Carmen enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking for her family, and all types of crafts. She will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, contagious laughter, delicious food, and unwavering love for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Rolando Garcia Sr.; her children and their spouses, Rolando and Belinda Garcia Jr., Regino Garcia, and Noe and Jennifer Garcia; her grandchild, Audriana Garcia; her brothers and their spouses, Arnulfo and Maria Puga, Arrgumero Puga, and Angel and Sonia Puga; and her sisters and their spouses, Modesta Hernandez and Jenny and Daniel Chavez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Paula Puga; her brothers, Benito Puga Jr., Gustavo Puga, and Domingo Puga Sr.; and her sisters, Anita Guzman, Odelia Pena, and Dalia Vera.
Funeral services will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 6–7, 2026. A viewing will take place on Friday, March 6, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a rosary to follow until 8:00 p.m., at Oak Park Memorial in Beeville, Texas. On Saturday, March 7, an additional viewing will begin at 8:00 a.m. at Oak Park Memorial, followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Pedro Cemetery.
