Burleigh Bozant Obituary

Retired Master Chief Burleigh Ivison Bozant, 78, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on August 7, 2025. He was born in Houston, Texas, on October 12, 1946, to Burleigh Albert Bozant and Iris Evelyn (Handley) Bozant.

A 1965 graduate of Spring High School, Burleigh played football and later attended Blinn Junior College before joining the United States Navy, where he served 27 years and rose to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer.
