Benito G. Chavarria

BEEVILLE – Benito G. Chavarria, 88, passed away on October 17, 2022. He was born on May 10, 1934, in Beeville, Texas to Anastacio and Pilar (Garcia) Chavarria. He had worked for Faulkner Construction for over 28 years.

     He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Aurora Elizalde Chavarria; two daughters, Martha Ann Chavarria, and Sarah Chavarria; three brothers, Anastacio “Chore”, Amalio, and Oscar Chavarria and two sisters, Elvira Guerrero, and Julia Ortiz.

     He is survived by three sons, Benito (Bitsy) Chavarria, Jerry (Debbie) Chavarria, and Joe Edward “Chista” Chavarria. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

     Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, Oct. 20, at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Jacob Vayalath as celebrant. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in the Clareville Community.
