April Caroline Garcia Galvan

BEEVILLE – April Caroline Garcia Galvan, 35, sadly passed away on July 22, 2023. She was born on August 1, 1987, in Corpus Christi, Texas to David and Nora (Rodriguez) Garcia. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, niece, aunt, and friend who was there when anyone needed her. She was loved by many, including her colleagues and students at FMC Elementary School. April married the love of her life, Philip Galvan, on October 1, 2022, and they shared three beautiful children.

     She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, David, and Rosenda Garcia; maternal grandparents, Victor and Elodia Rodriguez and numerous aunts, uncles, and a cousin.

     April is survived by her loving husband, Philip Galvan; two daughters, Brooklyn and Blayke and one son, Sebastian all of Beeville; her parents, David and Nora Garcia Jr; two sisters, Emily (Joey) Lopez and Erica (Frank) Garcia; one brother, David Garcia III; her in-laws, Joe and Brenda Galvan of Three Rivers; sister-in-law, Lisa (Anthony) Pelitire; brother-in-law, Joe Adam Galvan; eight nieces, Ciara, Amanda, Makayla, Cylee, Chloey, Peyton, Alexis and Kaitlyn; five nephews, Ayden, Landyn, Joey, Tristen, and Hunter. She is also survived by a great niece, Brylee Torres, a great nephew, Levi Pelitire and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

     A visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday, July 27, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm. The funeral services will take place at 10 am on Friday, July 28, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel with Pastor Marcelo Garcia Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers are Ayden Zamora, David Garcia III, Austin Salazar, Joe Adam Galvan, Cody Ruiz, and Fred Guerra. Honorary pallbearers are Landyn Zamora, Joey Lopez III, Hunter Pelitire, Tristian Pelitire, Josh Cano, Anthony Pelitire, Frank Ochoa, Josh Cabrera, and Amber Lopez.
