BEEVILLE – Andrea “YaYa” Reyes, 72, of Beeville, formerly of Live Oak County, passed away on January 9, 2022. She was born on Aug. 3, 1949, in Simmons City, Tx to Frank and Petra (Valdez) Lopez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pedro Reyes; one daughter, Mary Ann Castellano; five brothers, Clemente, Martin, Frank, Manuel and Joaquin Lopez, and one sister, Guadalupe Moody.
She is survived by her children, Juan Perez of Mathis, Mary Jane (Porfirio) Perez and Moses Reyes both of Beeville, Joe (JoAnn) Perez of Three Rivers, Joyce (Renato) Lopez and Janie (Andy) Reyes both of George West; one brother, Paul Lopez of Lubbock; three sisters, Francis Rodriguez, and Maggie Chapa both of George West and Janie Lopez of Houston; a special friend, Belinda “Tiger” Galvan of Beeville. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday, Jan. 13, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, Jan. 14, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel with Deacon Santos Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the George West Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Renato Garcia, Jr., Jose Antonio Martinez, Donnie Orozco, Leonel Alvarez, Antonio Castillo, and Joe Perez.
Honorary pallbearers are Juan Perez, Moses Reyes, Rene Garcia, and Andy Gonzales.
