Amelia Anita Ramos, age 93, was called home to her Savior on March 19, 2026. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman—a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a proud grandmother and great grandmother. She was a faithful servant of the Lord who lived her life with grace and strength. Her joy was her family, and she never failed to cover them with prayers and love.
Her children rise up and call her blessed, and her works continue to praise her at the city gates. While we grieve her absence here, we cling to the promise that we will one day see her again in heaven. We are rejoicing in knowing she has entered into the joy of her Master and is now experiencing the fullness of peace in God's eternal presence.
She fought the good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith.
She was preceded by her husband, Jose T. Ramos and two daughters, Yolanda Ramos and Zulema Ramos Garza.
She is survived by her children, Johnny Joe Ramos (Becky Ramos), Armando Ramos (Dolores Ramos), Eliu Ramos (Jackie Jenkins), Daniel Ramos (Blanca Ramos), Mary Ramos Todd (Jon Todd), and many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren, who carry forward her legacy of unwavering trust in God.
A celebration of her life and homegoing will be held at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 28, at 10:30 am with Pastor Salvador Rincon officiating.
A private family interment will follow.
