Adolfo V. Gonzales Obituary

BEEVILLE – Adolfo V. Gonzales, 86, of Beeville, passed away on Nov. 3, 2019. He was born on Aug. 15, 1933 in Beeville, Tx to Guadalupe and Elvira Katy (Vara) Gonzales. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.


       He was preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes “Meche” Gonzales; three sisters and six brothers.


       He is survived by his companion, Olga Garza of Beeville; children, Rebecca I. Gonzales (Cody, Troy, Bailey), Felipita (Jose) Bastida (Jeanette, Leanna, Maria, Mindy, Karalen), Adolf (Irene) Gonzales, Jr (Adolf G. III, Stephanie, Andrea, Neddia, Izabella), Manuel (Marissa) Gonzales (John Manuel, Matthew, Alyssa, Michael), Rosie (Gary) Coffeen (Allie (Donny) Reason, Jenna, Aiden), George Gonzales, Greg Gonzales (Annica, Danika, Aubrie), Gary Gonzales, Gracie (Joseph) Garcia (Ariceli, Arianna, Jordan). He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Makayla Banda, Autumn Reason and Jayce Perez.


       Visitation will be held from 3-9 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Our Lady of Victory Church with Fr. Luke officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.


       Serving as pallbearers are Adolf Garrett Gonzales, John Manuel Gonzales, Matthew Gonzales, Orlando Gonzales, Armando Gonzales and Chris Gonzales.


       Honorary pallbearers are Cody Rivera, Troy Rivera, Jordan Garcia, Michael Gonzales, Aiden Coffeen and all his nephews.
