Adelaida Munoz Gonzales

BEEVILLE – Adelaida Munoz Gonzales, 74, passed away on July 3, 2021. She was born on Dec. 16, 1946 in Beeville to the late Sotero and Antonia (Munoz) Gonzales. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Johnny Gonzales.

She is survived by one son, Emelio M. (Mary Ann) Ortiz, Jr of Jackson, Michigan; two daughters, Susie Gonzales Ortiz of Indiana and Delores Gonzales Ortiz of Beeville; one sister, Leonora San Miguel of Alvin, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Ortiz, Emelio Ortiz, Jr., Eric Ortiz, Roel Ortiz, Sandra Marie Ortiz, Sotero Torres, Jose Aguilar, Alena Aguilar and Kasimira M. Torres. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Thursday, July 8, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, July 9, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
