BEEVILLE – Mrs. Adela Prieto Jaure, 68, passed away on Sept. 15, 2021. She was born on May 27, 1953 in Pawnee, Texas to Joaquin and Estefana (Briseno) Prieto. She married Jaime Jaure on Mar. 10, 1973 in Kenedy, Tx.
She is preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Andres Prieto, Petra Saenz, Jose Prieto, Pasqual Prieto, Alejandra Aguilar, Joaquin Prieto and Jaime Prieto.
She is survived by her husband, Jaime Jaure of Beeville; children, Roland (Cynthia) Jaure, Omar (Yvonne) Jaure and Lupita (Juan) Chavez all of Beeville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandson and three brothers.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Monday, Sept. 20, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Gonzales as celebrant. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael Prieto, Juan Prieto, Jr., Joshua Herrera, Noel Lopez, Hector Lopez and Joaquin Prieto.
