Phyllis Sue Robertson-Suniga, 46, of Beeville, passed away peacefully October 24, 2011, surrounded by her family. Her diagnosis of ovarian cancer, in 2009, never slowed her down from raising her children and being the best wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Phyllis was born August 5, 1965, in Mathis, Texas. She married Tomas Suniga Sr. in 1981, in Beeville and then began their family. Besides being a wife and mother, she also loved her work through the years as a waitress with Mi Familia Resturant and as a provider with Angel Bright Home Health.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her Grandmother, Adelia Soliz-Garcia.

She is survived by her husband, Tomas "Shark" Suniga Sr.; sons, John Michael Robertson and Tomas Suniga Jr.; daughters, Adelia Marie Suniga, Adalia Marie Suniga and Gabriela Teresa Suniga; brothers, Joe Garcia, Don "Skip" Robertson, Tony Robertson, Timothy Robertson and Jaime Alvarado; sisters, Esparanza Sevier, Yolanda Paredes, Elsa Briones, Rita Perez, Alma Soliz and Jenny "Sissy" Hayes; brother-in-law, Jose Suniga Jr.; her five grandchildren, Mikayla Janine Robertson, John Michael Robertson, Elanie Ann Suniga, Phyllis Nevaen Suniga and Audrina Marina Robertson; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Her family wishes to thank Dr. Chandler and his staff, as well as the entire staff with Exclusive Home Health and Hospice for their loving hearts and gentle hands.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Beeville. Fr. Luke will preside. A private burial will be held.
