BEEVILLE – Mrs. Elida P. Ramirez, 96, of Beeville, died on Aug. 12, 2018. She was born on Feb. 12, 1922 in Beeville, Tx to Luis and Sabas (Munoz) Perez. She married Lee L. Ramirez on Feb. 16, 1937 in Beeville, Tx. She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by four sons, Lee (Olivia) Ramirez of Houston, Tx, CDR Ray (Tory) Ramirez of San Antonio, Tx, Oscar (Liz) Ramirez of McAllen, Tx and Roland (Jerry) Ramirez of Dallas, Tx; six daughters, Olga (Sam) Willis of Beeville, Tx, Helen (Sam) Gardner of Wylie, Tx, Dr. Yolanda (Jerry) Franzen of Houston, Tx, Linda (Mike) Keyworth of San Antonio, Tx, Hilda (John) Hansson of The Woodlands, Tx and Rosie (Nancy) Ramirez of Gaithersburg, MD. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-9pm on Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7pm. The body of Mrs. Ramirez will lie in state on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 9am at St. James Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am with Fr. Richard Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are Duane Gardner, Charles Keyworth, Dr. Christopher Franzen, Dr. Matthew Franzen, Rodney Ramirez, Oscar Lee Ramirez, Derek Hansson and Ray Anthony Ramirez.

Honorary pallbearers are Trey Martinez, Ryder Anderson, Tony Strauss, Ray Ramirez and Sam Gardner.
